Vinnova is Sweden’s Innovation Agency whose vision is to strengthen Sweden as a country of research and innovation, as a way of attracting investment and entrepreneurship. The government agency contributes to sustainable growth and improves the conditions for innovation by funding projects and research as a way of offering new solutions. Moreover, they aim to strengthen relations between companies, academic institutions, public and civil services as well as reinforcing international cooperation. Each year, Vinnova invests around SEK 3 billion in fostering innovation.
